01 What is the difference between APEX Interior SMD and COB technology?
While both provide exceptional clarity, our APEX Interior COB (Chip-on-Board) technology is designed for ultra-high-definition viewing at the closest distances (1.2mm to 1.9mm). By mounting the LED chips directly to the substrate, we achieve a 170° viewing angle and a more durable, “dust-proof” surface, whereas our SMD line offers a versatile, cost-effective solution for large-scale video walls with pixel pitches up to 5.9mm.
02 How does the seamless design of APEX compare to traditional tiled LCD displays?
Traditional LCD video walls are limited by “bezels” or visible seams that break up the image. APEX is engineered with precision die-cast aluminum cabinets that align perfectly, creating a 100% seamless canvas. This allows for immersive, cinematic visuals without the distracting grid lines, making it the superior choice for luxury lobbies, broadcast studios, and high-end command centers.
